From James and Beverly Rackley
We just ended our September/October "Children's Workers Training". It was one of our best training's ever.
Teachers Class . . .
The theme was the life of Jonah. We taught the importance of obeying the call God has on our lives. Jonah disobeyed God's call and others on the ship with him almost lost their lives because of his disobedience. Everything we do effects others. They threw Jonah overboard, but God gave him another chance and a big fish ready and waiting to save him.
I think spending several days in the belly of a fish should cause anyone to straighten up and obey God. He repented and the fish vomited him up on the land and he gladly obeyed God and an entire city was Saved.
It was not a good experience for the fish either. Here is an
interview with the fish and the fish tells it's experience for
having a disobedient preacher in it's stomach for several days.

We were blessed to have Danny & Peggy Thorton from Longview, TX with us this week.
They taught several subjects including "Mime". Our students fell in love with them! They
travel the world teaching "Teachers" evangelism and how to teach children. It was an honor
for them to be with us at THE OASIS CENTER.
Next week we are looking forward to our "Pastors' Seminar". Pastor John Pfeffer from Faith Christian Center in Seekonk, MA. will be with us.
